A balanced diet is an essential element of student growth, development and academic success. This doesn’t change when students are released for summer vacation. CPSD provides free meals during the summer to children 18 years of age and younger.
Children and families can visit one of nine locations during specified mealtimes to receive a free meal. Children do not have to be enrolled in summer school to receive a meal but are required to stay within the designated location while they eat.
