Describe the path you took from high school graduation to where you are today:

I wasn't very involved in school. My senior year I worked full time and attended Clover Park Technical College. I took a few community colleges classes just to make my mother happy. After about a year, I decided to get organized and get a degree. That accomplishment gave me the confidence to attend Pacific Lutheran University, majoring in business and education. My first job with the district was as a substitute. My first contract job was at Lochburn Middle School where I happened to have attended as a student. When the district reorganized, I joined the freshman at the high school and transferred to Lakes. I helped open Lakewood Career Academy and taught there for four years. I am now at Clover Park High School, the school I graduated from.
